    About Us

    We have been running for around five years, and our main aim is to provide Computer skills support to all in the area of New Addington and Fieldway. We are a registered charity who relies on the support of many different organisations in the public and private sector.

    John Smithies is the Operations Manager of the centre and is supported by his staff and volunteers. The Charity is run by a Board of Directors that are made up of Local residents.

    We have fourteen computers ten of which have Microsoft Office 2007 and the others use Office 2003, all run Windows XP Pro; they are all connected to the internet on a Broadband connection. We have colour printing facilities, photocopying and many other services.

    We also rent our centre out to community groups and businesses which can include the use of an interactive white board and projector. For more information please contact John on 01689 841058 or info@theoctagon.org.uk

    We are open daily for drop-in internet access unless we have a prior booking

    Our Basic charges are as follows

    40p for 1/4 hour   25p members

    80p for 1/2 hour   50p members
